On the first morning after we arrived Angie went out for a walk that took 3 hours. I was waiting at Kabus castle and Jan asked if I
would like to go with him to the Outlet Mall. I said sure and off we went in Silke' Ford convertible with the top down. We went into the
Adidas store and Jan looked for clothes to wear on his event on Saturday then we walked through the rest of the mall. On the way out of the parking garage
 we passed large open air parking lots. Whoever designed it had visions of LOTS of customers coming to shop there.
I then got a tour of the Elstal Village and some of the old (1930) Olympic Village. Some of the barracks building have been replaced with new constucton
and buildings that still could be salvaged were being converted in new homes.Here is a screen shot of the Google map (in German)
